Pursed Lips is the new home of the blogs & posts by DesignerElla and the former Lipped Media. Blogs like Kiss Me Stace and handbag posts now reside here (or back here depending on which URLs you know).

Ella has needed to move on to only blog part time as she works on designing accessories and to fight the recession ad payments. Good timing to fulfill her dream. (Well my dream, as I am she.)

Pursed Lips in name did start as a handbag blog, then moved after being in Google’s “sandbox” (hidden from search results in a period of dues-paying & such) for too long.

Now the title reflects a strong voice related to fashion and design, especially Ella’s own handbag design, although the blog is now a mix of style, designer news, and design critiques (much of it fug alerts, hehe).

Quick style-bio: I wrote since a young kid (at least 4th grade) and wanted to design / started sketching at 12. Discouraged from fashion, I kept the dream inside but pursued other things foremost. In college I realized my scholastic strength was writing and started to blog, but about fashion. I wanted to write or edit but quickly realized I had too much passion for design, and a new desire/focus: handbags.
